Engine Overhaul
Overhaul of the engine is a complex and time-consuming complex process of restoring the performance of the car engine to a level close to factory condition. This type of repair requires a high degree of skill and experience from the mechanic and is performed when the engine is significantly worn and no longer able to operate efficiently.

Here are the main stages that engine overhaul includes:
Diagnostics
Before starting the repair, a thorough diagnosis of the engine is carried out to determine the degree of wear of parts and identify specific malfunctions. This may include:
- Measurement of compression in cylinders
- Checking the level of oil and fuel consumption
- Listening to engine operation for extraneous noises
Dismantling the engine
For ease of repair, the engine is removed from the car. This allows access to all its components and details
Engine disassembly
At this stage, the engine is completely disassembled into individual components. This includes removing:
- Cylinder block heads
- Pistons and connecting rods
- Crank-rod mechanism
- Other engine internal parts
Cleaning and evaluation of parts
All components are thoroughly cleaned of soot, oil and other impurities. After that, the condition of each part is assessed, including:
- Pistons and cylinders for wear or damage
- Crankshaft and connecting rod liners
- Valves and camshaft
Restoration or replacement of parts
After assessing the condition of the parts, they are repaired or replaced. This may include:
- Boring of cylinders to eliminate irregularities
- Crankshaft grinding
- Replacement of piston rings, connecting rod liners, gaskets and seals
- Restoration or replacement of valves and their seats
Engine assembly
After restoring or replacing all the necessary parts, the engine is assembled in the reverse order. During assembly, special attention is paid to:
- Correct installation of pistons and connecting rods
- Adjustment of valve clearances
- Installation of gaskets and seals to prevent leakage of oil or coolant
Engine test
After the assembly is completed, the engine is installed on a stand to check its operability. The test includes:
- Checking the level of compression in the cylinders
- Evaluation of work at idle speed and under load
- Checking for the absence of liquid leaks
Installing the engine on the car
After a successful test, the engine is installed back into the car. All systems are connected, after which repeated testing is carried out to verify operation in real conditions
Final inspection and break-in
After installation, the engine undergoes a break-in period, during which its operational characteristics are gradually stabilized. After running in, a final check of all systems is carried out
